New build computer for rendering

Hi, I man looking to spend around £1200.00 on a new computer which I will be using to render with 3d max. I would also like to make this myself from scratch and be blue to add speed to it. Please help as I haven't got a clue what to buy.

Computer rendering tends to require a good amount of CPU power and generally the more cores and memory the better. So if you're building a system that is dedicated to rendering then i would ensure that you have at least 16GB of memory and a strong CPU to boot (like a 3930k). I don't know how much 1200 euros is and i'm to lazy to convert, but it seems like it would be enough.
