Hey everybody, i thought i only had a gpu problem but it seems that i got more
My gpu is dying,im ordering another one soon, its temps on idle are INSANE,tried everything, but half of my gtx 295 is dead, and despite the very good cleaning it somehow reaches 80-90 idle temps and 120 C when im trying to game and then insta shuts down.

Other thing i noticed is that when i use speedfan i see the 2 cpu cores
i7 920 not overclocked 2,67.One core is preety cool, the other looks like its burning.

Those temps are during IDLE

Is that normal? Can it be because of the Gpu?All the fans are working,it has a corsair a50 AM cooler on it and not the stock, my case is antec 1200 with all the stock fans and my motherboard is asus rampage ii extreme.

my psu is HX1000W from corsair

Is there something wrong?
Do i need to freaking replace the whole system?

Thanks for your time

Try using several different temp monitoring software like coretemp. realtemp, gpu-z, etc.

If they all confirm the temps showing up on speedfan then maybe reseat both your CPU and GPU heatsinks.
