Hey there, i'm from Argentina and I am having a lot of doubts about which build would be the best for gaming, cad , solid edge, solid work, catia and thos kind of softwares, and i am considering overclocking in the future. I did a lot of research and there are lot of different opinions. I managed to choose som builds but i still dont know which I should go for. Remember i'm on a budget and the prices here are a lot different than in USA.

Build Nº1:

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 970 Sata3 USB3
Processor: AMD Eight-Core FX-8320 3.5Ghz X8 8Mb Cache AM3+
GPU: Zotac Geforce GTX 650Ti AMP! Edition 2Gb GDDR5
Memory: GSkill DDR3 8Gb (2x4Gb) 1600Mhz Ripjaws
Case: Thermaltake V9 Black Edition
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600W / Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w

Build Nº2:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H Z77 Sata3 USB3
Processor: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40Ghz QPI 5GT/s 6Mb Cache
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 Ghz OC Version 1Gb GDDR5
Memory: GSkill DDR3 8Gb (2x4Gb) 1600Mhz Ripjaws
Case: Thermaltake V9 Black Edition
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 600W / Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 500w

The difference between is mainly in the CPU+GPU combination.
Also there is the Sapphire HD 7790 1gb OC edition which is a little bit cheaper than the gtx 650 ti amp, which one should i go for?

Thanks for everything, and every suggestion would be taken into account thanks again!

I tried finding the fx-6350 but it seems they don't come into the country or something, i cant find them anywhere. Also importing things from abroad is quite difficult these days, bitchy customs..

And what about the Gtx 650 vs hd 7790 ??

First, let me ask, what is your budget? I'll see if I can put something together for you

I would choose build No 1. The FX 8320 has more cores and should help you with your multi-threaded applications. Stick with Nvidia for CUDA cores which should help with CAD (not too sure about this).

If you have to choose between the two PSU's, I would go with Thermaltake. If you can find it and they are within your budget, I would choose either one of these PSU's:

SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM 550W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

or

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

I'm around $1200 dollars but here in Argentina prices i quite higher than in the USA, and it's very complicated to buy the components via internet and have them delivered here (the products stucks in costums for a long time) so i have to buy them here. Also there is not too much offers.

I can't get those psu you mentioned those brand are not here, xfx maybe but hard to get. I will do some more research for the CUDA cores issue.

Thanks both

Your first setup should do you fine as it is, as far as your graphics card goes i'd go with that Hd 7790 you mentioned. Good luck friend!
