i am thinking of upgrading my pc, but i dont know what is bottlenecking it, only upgrading to play games better (battlefield 3, crysis, gtav, farcry 3, rome total war, shogun, f1, iracing, company of heroes 2 )

getting a Zalman Z11 case and already have a OCZ octane 120gb sata 2 ssd that is yet to be installed, also replacing my arctic freezer 7 to a hyper 212 evo.

im just wondering what the next part to replace that may be a bottleneck, any help and/or advice is appreciated.

Your cpu is good up until you get to 7950~ range. I would say that your 6870 would be the "bottleneck" atm, followed by your mobo, then your processor (only saying mobo because i don't think it has a bio update to support AM3+ cpus).
