This is kinda good news, bare with me.
People dont seem to care when their phones are tapped (their legislators voted for it) and calls recorded. But this might be the straw that broke the camels back, this could be the thing to turn the public sentiment against the Patriot Act and these warrantless unjustifiable intrusions into privacy.
I would even fire Holder to send a message to other agencies that you dont do sh*t like this. But it will never happen people will never get pissed enough to do anything.

Now mingo, youre going to lose your lib credentials if you keep this up, its not as if it hasnt happened before, tho young you are, and the liberals wanted it then, so theyre using it now, inreverse of course, because today, they ARE the man

In a 16 September 1971 column in The Washington Post, Jack Anderson wrote that US intelligence was successfully intercepting telephone conversations from limousines used by members of the Soviet Politburo in Moscow. In his book, For the President’s Eyes Only (New York, NY: Harper Perennial, 1966, p. 359), British historian Christopher Andrew says that this US collection program producing highly sensitive information ended abruptly after Anderson’s revelations.

Remember, those held at Gitmo ?
Some believe they deserve our rights?
And now youre trashing the patriot act?
My advice is, dont worry about the phone, worry more to keep patriot act away from your checks and tax sheets
Oh, and PS
Notice my quote?
Notice the bname of the book?
Thats right, back then the president was responsible for all this, not just hearing about it on the telly

I think some are calling in their loans.
Even with the AP, more than likely, due to its nature, the president or an assigned underling by the president still had to go forwards with this, and have a judge sign off as well.
With the AP thing, its the width of the usage, so broad in scope, they were looking at things they shouldnt have.
The IRS, they may have mishandled infos forced from the people, and given it to political appointees on the ooposite side of things, a huge no no, and someone will pay for this, tho the timing is somewhat concerning.
Last I heard on Benghazi is, Africom was told to stand down, now who gave this order, we need to know.
A link I put up earlier from wiki says its the prez, according to chain of command, but this too can be delegated.
Either way, knowing or not, Mr BO has mishandled either thru appointment, lied, or is just truly a bad human being, which of course we would expect lying from.

Obviously, either government has gotten too large to over see.
Obviously, those who bring to light fact should never be attacked or lessened in their occupations.
Obviously, since Obama didnt know half of what was going on in the government, he is inept or very vile and full of lies.
Obviously, we all have a unfriendly attitude towards the IRS, and anyone who disagrees, tell me how you feel when an agent knocks on your door.
Now why is this?
Theyve had complete and utter control of everything you have until you can prove your innocence, not really the American way, but is tolerated so our country can pay its bills, and shows to the many naysaying large government loving, lie accepting, tingling in their knees wannbes, that if the right actually didnt believe in "fairness", then the IRS wouldnt have this ability, nor would it be tolerated.
So, this brings us around to bigger government and giving huge amounts of responsibility and power to a portion of government that has more control of each one of us, no matter how rich, how successful, how poor, or how unfortunate one is, to only add more power and control just doesnt work.
First, if those supporting Obamacare I would think would like a good approach towards the people, marketing 101 if you will, assigning the IRS to oversee how each individual pays and attains the correct amount is like giving the bully all the lunches to hand out during lunch at school, its stupid, and shows the out of touch, overreaching attitudes some of our lawmakers have towards us, the students if you will

Well, if you want a history of the MSM and liberals in general towards the press, and their right to leak:
“Jack Anderson was like Ahab chasing after Richard Nixon, this great white whale, and he plagued Nixon from the very beginning of his career,” says Feldstein, a veteran journalist and former “Dateline NBC” producer who has spent years researching the life and career of Anderson, once one of the most widely read newspaper columnists in the country.
Feldstein’s book does not paint Anderson as a journalistic white knight. While praising the columnist as one of the country’s premier investigative reporters, Feldstein also accuses him of questionable tactics and ethical transgressions, including writing stories suggesting that a number of public figures were gay when he had no evidence to support it — a not uncommon smear during Anderson’s era.
Feldstein also obtained copies of cancelled checks showing that Anderson received thousands of dollars in payments from one of his long time sources — Washington lobbyist Irving Davidson, whose clients included mobsters and right-wing dictators such as Nicaragua’s Anastasio Somoza. According to Feldstein, Davidson wrote the checks out of the bank account of the Somoza regime and the lobbyist kept a special file of positive articles that Anderson had done about his clients. (Anderson died in 2005. One of his sons, Kevin Anderson, did not dispute the payments, but told NBC that Davidson provided “valuable information” to his father over the years.)
http://www.nbcnews.com/id/39157420/ns/politics/t/nixon-...
They loved Jack Anderson then, but today, not in their backyard, even if its the chosen one.
In other words, even the most joyous and happy and powerful of his supporters, the MSM are saying government is too powerful and out of control.
All done in these enlightened times too, with such as the wisest president finding out about these things....on the MSM
PS Notice also Anderson made attempts at calling some pols gay, and is in accord with calling anyone a bigot today, if you dont completely accept what the chosen one has laid down for us.
Yes, the LA times big man, the liberal bastion of the left coast, smearing people by calling them gay, a typical leftist attempt, being the bigots they are
Sep 28, 2010 – Mark Feldstein's study of the muckraking columnist Jack Anderson and his ... had reported that some of Reagan's staff members were gay.
Spiro Agnew with a column hinting that Agnew's son was gay. ...
People whose version of media history only includes the Woodwards and Bernsteins taking down Richard Nixon (for nothing more than their sheer love of country) might want to see just how Anderson worked hand in glove with Democrats, and cut a series of ethical corners:
Anderson's questionable tactics were visible as early as 1958, when he and a Democratic congressional investigator were caught with bugging equipment in the old Sheraton-Carlton Hotel, surreptitiously recording the businessman who bribed Sherman Adams, later forced to resign as President Dwight Eisenhower's chief of staff. This was a big break for Anderson, who was then the chief legman for columnist Drew Pearson.
During the 1960 campaign, Anderson worked with an operative for John F. Kennedy's campaign to uncover a secret $205,000 loan -- actually a gift that was never repaid -- from reclusive billionaire Howard Hughes to Vice President Nixon's brother, Donald. Pearson was reluctant to run the story on the eve of the election, so Anderson set a trap by letting a top Nixon aide know he was investigating the matter. That prompted the GOP campaign to leak a sanitized version to a conservative Scripps-Howard reporter, creating the opening for the columnists to "correct the record" with the seamy details.
Anderson and Pearson quickly took a partisan side, drafting a statement for their friend Lyndon Johnson, Kennedy's running mate, to demand Senate hearings on Nixon's finances. They even sent a telegram to Democratic congressman Jack Brooks -- headlined SUGGEST PRESS STATEMENT SOMEWHAT ALONG THESE LINES -- which Brooks faithfully followed.

Everyone surely remembers this remark:
"If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, 'We're gonna punish our enemies, and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us'
Then:
Mr. Obama told Baisden that he should have used the word, "opponents," rather than "enemies" (see below). According to his language parsing, presumably some Republicans candidates are "opponents," not "enemies," of provisions, such as comprehensive immigration reform. Understood?
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20021413-503544....
Now, what do we see here?
Another, grab their Bibles and guns remark.
Then some feeble excuse to rectify his comments.
Time and again comments, and enemies?
If he is so wise, he would never say such a thing.
If he was so wise, these things we are finally seeing now wouldnt be happening.
Using words like enemies, and clinging to their Bibles and guns, sorta sounds like you guys, you know, a certain group?
Wheres big hittin shotgun Joe right now too?
He should be standing side by side with the anointed one.

I believe you have many in the TEA party who has to be listened to regarding the IRS probe and solutions.
The TEA party has warned government is too big and cumbersome, making it too expensive and intrusive.
The very thing theyve warned about is now happening, and to them of all walks of life.
Remember this?
It's better for four guilty men to go free than one innocent man to be imprisoned?
The zealousness of the "fairness" doctrine could be seen as easily tipping our scales of.....fairness, simply because those driving this belief are big government, high taxes and everything that can cause the IRS situation to happen, whether people in the IRS getting caught up in the hype of it, or it being too unwieldy and large.
So, when people see their leaders proposing class warfare for the sake of "fairness", beware, if not for the simple fact that government can and often does go wrong.

Oh, and to all those revisionists who credit Clinton for balancing the budget, and also, to those who find it OK to go after the AP, who are doing less than this man:
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1955&dat=19970306...
balanced budget....which has been the cornerstone of the conservative agenda for a decade
His buddy Joe Biden is often written about from Jack Anderson back in the day, seemed it was OK with the leaks he was putting out, the slander he used to good ol Joe.
Whats truly sad here is, a former lib/progressive champion used racism/sexism to discredit others in his time, the libs loved him, but today, the TEA party has been accused of racism, no fact, theyve been ridiculed more than any for their agenda, and here we are today, the government abusing them, the left calling them racists, as Im sure the left would rather forget their old buddy Jack Anderson, who actually did do what they only hoped the TEA party supposedly did, and are attacked by the TEA parties very warnings about government.
The irony is only too deep here

Just like Pelosi, vote then find out, fundamental change was an open book, this all could have turned out to be quite something different, and I believe is why some are still holding on to someones whos lied about death, didnt know about government intervention all the way down to what books you read in peoples lives, to diminishing whistle blowers, and going so far as to potential whistle blowers as in the AP, to scare anyone off, as well as the multitude of other things forthcoming and I havnt mentioned here.
You can love your president, even the left media loved Reagan simply for his wit and charm, but it didnt end there either, helping to solve the end of the cold war, recharging a dismal economy etc.
Obama has Obamacare, and he puts in charge of it the very person who was in chanrge of the IRS during all the corruption.
No, its a learning curve for those that didnt vette him, and downplayued who his friends were, his acquaintances, his pastor, the people he chose to be around, and the people he actually chose to be around.
All this matters, and the press and the zealots are mainly to blame, besides his admin and him.

Now theyve gone after FOX News James Rosen
In the affidavit, FBI agent Reginald Reyes said Rosen “asked, solicited and encouraged Mr. Kim to disclose sensitive United States internal documents and intelligence information.” He added, “The reporter did so by employing flattery and playing to Mr. Kim’s vanity and ego.”

In response to questions about how Rosen was characterized in the affidavit, the Justice Department said in a statement Monday: “Saying that there is probable cause to believe that someone has committed a crime and charging the person with that crime are two different things.”
Looks like weve gone from Obamacare to Obamascare
Remember how this admins spent more money than all the rest in history combined?
Well, being consistent:
The Obama administration has pursued more leak investigations under the 1917 Espionage Act than all previous administrations combined
And they said tricky Dick was paranoid

Where everyones a god, whether local or national, its beginning to look like Mt Olympus here.
Im sure most IRS people arent used to having to answer questions instead of demanding answers to their own.
I could see that in Millers attitude earlier, the very contempt for congress, as if they meant anything.
I give him credit at least for saying "I dont know" "I told the truth" etc statements, which were proved wrong , and will be even proven wrong moreso down the line.
Evidently, in the James Rosen situation, it wasnt just him either, according to Fox.
So, we have a justice dept that wont uphold the law on political reasonings, tho we cant disobey it for the same.
We have the IRS going after groups of people wanting smaller government, as the largest expansion ever seen in government, Obamacare is not only created, but a large portion, and the enforceable portion of it is given over to the IRS, and a person partially responsible at the time of the IRS' indescretions is put at the helm of this.
We have the justice dept going after the press for doing their jobs, for simply asking for answers, and being placed as contributors to so called corruption and law breaking, yet as they attack the press, surely dumbed down by such actions, the prez completely buys their info as to whats going on when he learns of much of this thru the dumbed down media for the first time?
I have it right so far?

Its a setup.
Even people that adopted kids must be conservatives, oh noes, all is lost.
And if you didnt know about them, then you arent following along very well
Then theres this guy and his dad
http://video.foxnews.com/v/2405459469001/franklin-graha...
Timing and delays, hmm that and the IRS are the only consistencies, besides political positions, or perceived ones anyways

This isnt an argument here is it?
Letting the government have such power?
Just say yes, you want the government to have such power or not.
If not, then all politics asside, someones going to jail, and depending on how far up the ladder it goes, so should be the penalties.
Again, regardless of politics.
If it goes to the WH, then it goes there, if it sits on top of the president, so it does.
Not wanting it to shouldnt change a thing.
I dont want it to, I would hope our president isnt involved, as it was sad days when Nixon left in disgrace, and I was liberal back in the day, knew and used all the hippy speak I see today as well.
What has to be done has to be done

Now the president is saying we are turning a page in regards to terrorism, yet with Ft Hood and Boston, thereve been more attacks than weve seen in awhile?
Does anything he say trustworthy?
Looking at London and France, my guess is no.
Looking at Sweden and Australia, my guess is no.
He wont even call attacks acts of Muslim extremists acts of terrorism by Muslim extremists.
Just a hint to those who like this poor handling of these things, just because you say something doesnt make it so, like knowing when everyone else found out, as in watching TV.
Denying/omitting Muslim extreme terrorism is quite healthy throughout the globe, as in not knowing about Benghazi or the IRS or the huge wide open book on the bugging of the media looking for leaks, yes, the leaks on.... you guessed it, terrorism.
Theres much more, but I want people to read this, and not overwhelm them with facts.

Well, the republicans have been blamed for politicizing a few of these things, and accusing the president for Benghazi, Boston etc because he wont speak directly to the problem, terrorism, since its supposedly on the run and way diminished.
Today he said we turn a page from this, as if it were all but over, or something we should just get used to or whatever hes saying with regards to reality.
So, fact, hes been claiming terrorism is over, like the republicans have said, hes hidden this in his speeches continually, fact, and yet the republicans still get blamed, terrorism continues, and today, once again, we get the wrong message from our president.
If its the same old facts marv, maybe the president should try to embrace them, instead of making us look bad and him a fool, while bolstering our enemies all at the same time.

Comey was critical of Clinton's pardons and Eric Holder's pardon recommendation.[16] According to Rich's attorney, Holder advised to circumvent standard procedures and to submit the pardon petition directly to the White House.[17]

Critics complained that Denise Rich, his former wife, had made substantial donations to both the Clinton library and to Mrs. Clinton's senate campaign. According to Paul Volcker's independent investigation of Iraqi Oil-for-Food kickback schemes, Marc Rich was a middleman for several suspect Iraqi oil deals involving over 4 million barrels (640,000 m3) of oil.[21] Longtime Clinton supporters and Democratic leaders such as former President Jimmy Carter, James Carville and Terry McAuliffe, were all critical of the Clinton pardon. Carter said the pardons were "disgraceful."[22]
So, remember, fair share, as in, share some of that $ with the dems, have Holder work it over, and its all fair
PS Look whos heading the FBI

So, from Scooter Libby on down to Holder, theyve all been in bed with one another, have dirt on each other, and are all sharing in ruling the roost.

Now, lets go back to the Ft Hood shooter, who wants to defend himself.
As is well known, this was to be taken as a workplace violence description instead of an act of terrorism, as deemed by the BO admin.
The consequences are, those that were shot and lived, do not get battle pay, since it was deemed workplace violence, and their injuries and such arent covered under the military as it would if deemed an act of terrorism.
This has caused many of the victims to go without a few things because of this declaration as such.
Meanwhile, this Major Hassan who did the killings and injuries/shootings has decided to defend himself in court, yes in court, because, its deemed as a workplace violence scenario.
So, in court, the wording will be recorded for all to see and hear, so, anyone whos worried about things getting out to rile up those inclined with the Majors way of thinking now has great opportunity to hear it and do so.
If this were a terrorist attack, it would then be a military matter, with military courts, and the words of the trial would then be held incommunicado .
Now, the reasons so far, stated by the Major, since at least this is open and transparent, are that the Major needed to do something to stop those troops from harming the known terrorists/leaders.
So, in the end, protecting a election by deeming terrorism is dead is stepping on the graves of those killed by this act and abroad, is purely foolhardy as seen by this unsettled "worker" and his words

The U.S. government has obtained a top secret court order that requires Verizon to turn over the telephone records of millions of Americans to the National Security Agency on an "ongoing daily basis," the UK-based Guardian newspaper reported Wednesday.
http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/05/politics/nsa-verizon-reco...
”He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security.”
http://www.whatourforefathersthought.com/Quotes.html
Firstly, looks like police state soft coming, with Im sure more to come, as even the press and congress are not exempt from big brother, as well as those farmers and those drones overhead, go EPA, which is also the Gibson guitar companies harassers.
IRS, harassment, EPA, harassment , NSA, harassment, and the talking points is now on the economy, where its getting better after the sequestration.
Yea mingo, I would have to call it that, as their own people do the same to them, and we all call it terrorism.
If one of us does it to anyone else, here at home or abroad, so it is.
To stop the what ifs, WHEN we leave all these places, terrorism wont stop there or here.
A better example is Tim McVeigh, where he too was against the government here, and those working for it, and this includes the military as well.
Yes, he was a terrorist.
Yes, he used terorism to further his beliefs
PS
If Obama says he just heard about this the other day as well, he needs to go.
He has to acknowledge this for once, and why as Im sure its not only Verizon, he insists invading our privacy, where he has the right to do so in such broad strokes.
Its time to quit playing dodgeball, put on the big boy pants and explain all these things to the people.
Cause if he doesnt, and sends someone else out, it wont work, no matter how well they end up being promoted

One day after The Guardian revealed that the U.S. government has been secretly collecting call log data from millions of Verizon customers, The Washington Post reported Thursday that the government’s monitoring of American’s data goes much, much deeper. The FBI and the National Security Agency are mining the servers of the country’s biggest technology companies for the purpose of hunting spies and terrorists. The program, code-named PRISM, is massive in scope and involves web services that many Americans use every day.
