HDD not supported by Samsung DVD-E360

Hi, I have purchased a Samsung DVD-E360 with a USB port and I also have a Samsung 1TB HDD. I have formatted it in to exFAT (or FAT32) and transferred an AVI file on to it to see if it will play. When I plug the HDD in to the USB port on the DVD player, it says device not supported. What can I do?

You will find, as with most DVD players, they will only play content of a USB 'Stick' and NOT USB Hard Drive. Try a USB stick. My Samsung DVD player only plays things of a stick and not hard drive.

I actually managed to get it working by using Partition Master and it will play through my DVD player now!
