if the 40inch as most 40inch TVs is a 1080p res, you dont need SLI 670, a 680/7970 will be good enough. but if you still plan on getting SLI, then 2x 670s can handle anything you can throw at it @ 1080p resolution, and if you can extend your budget a bit more.. get the GTX 690, it'll save you loads of space and will run much cooler than 2x 670s in SLI

i was like ya why not i can future proof it for a long time with GTX 690 and even go sli with it ..

but then i saw that one card is for aprox.. 1200 $

so do you think the specs will support the GTX 690 card

PSU - $170 - Corsair HX850

MoBo - $410 - ASUS Z77 Pro

CPU - included - Intel Core i7-3570K

RAM - $74 - (2 x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 (White)

Cooler - $50 - Hyper 612 PWM

GFX like you suggested GTX 690

HD - $94 Caviar Black 1TB

SSD - $150 - Samsung 840 Pro

its up to you, 2x 670 will perform at the same level as a single 690, but seeing that you plan to SLI in a mid-tower case, a single 690 will run cooler with less noise, that being said, nvidia are set to launch the 770 and 780 by the end of this month. around 23rd and 30th if im not mistaken, why not wait for them?
