Hi All,

I am thinking about picking up another GTX 670 to SLI with my Gigabyte 670. I am wondering what my best option is, if you are familiar with the cooler on the Gigabyte it more or less circulates the air in the case, I have the model with 3 fans as opposed to two. I am not concerned about my temps currently, and my case has good ventilation, I have two fans blowing towards my MOBO and GPU, and I also have a downdraft CPU cooler. Space is also not a concern, I have the 600r from Corsair which is monstrous. My question is, am I okay simply purchasing another Gigabyte 670 for SLI, or should I look for one with similar clocks and a slightly different cooling schema, maybe one that specifically vents out the back of the case, to put below the Gigabyte model? I am pretty open to suggestions/recommendations and would ideally like to hear from someone with a SLI Gigabyte GTX 670 set up. I am looking to get a triple monitor set up going, so I have considered swapping my 670 for a 4gb 670 and getting two of those, although I have heard this may not be necessary. But, I am open to a possibility such as that as well. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Well, i recommend you get another Gigabyte GTX 670, because if you choose a GTX 670, with a higher clock it won't make any difference as in a SLI configuration the cards run at the clock speed of the card that has the lowest one. But i would get another Gigabyte one, just to have less complications and plus 2 of the same card looks way cooler than 2 different cards. Also I love Gigabyte cards, previously owned a GTX 560 from Gigabyte and I couldn't ask for more. I didn't have any problems with the card, performed great, ran extremely quiet and cool, another Gigabyte card would be a great choice, but its your decision.

I like my Gigabyte as well, my main concern is having the air from the 2nd card simply recirculate to the top card, I was wondering if I should get one that specifically exhausts out the back of the case for the 2nd card. I would gladly buy another Gigabyte model but I am not sure what the cooling performance will be in SLI, that is what I am looking for advice on.
