Hello

I have just got my GTX 480 put everything together and when i turn my computer on it shuts down then starts again but it will not display a picture at all.

I have 2 x 6 Pins and also ground the 2 left over pins.

Specs

M4N68T
4 X 2GB DDR3
PHENOM ii X4 955
650W PSU

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance

I personally would flash the board to the most up to date bios revision. In some cases, graphics cards don't play along with some boards, (especially oem boards). Thankfully aftermarket support (especially asus) is good for providing bios updates to resolve issues such as this. Try other display connections as well, if all else fails, it could possibly be a dead card. There's not many things more depressing than getting a shiny new dead graphics card, i'm all too familiar with it.

Thanks for your response, i have the latest Bios.

Im not sure if it will make a difference but i have ordered a 8 Pin adapter to use but if not i will send it back.

Its a nightmare sell my graphics card to get a better one and i get one thats possibly broke and now stuck with a HD 5450
