GTX 660 ti and Metro the last light

i was wondering if a gtx 660 ti would be able to run metro the last light on max settings at 1080p at a good solid 45 to 55 fps. the reason i am asking this is because i want a mid to high end gpu but the 670 is too expensive for me and the 660 ti seems to fit my budget.

Metro Last Light is much better optimized for performance than Metro: 2033. A GTX 660 Ti will do a very good job and will just about, almost, match a GTX 670. (Apparently AMD cards are having major problems, however.)

I saw a great deal on a custom Galaxy GC card for under $255 after rebate on Newegg.

Last light is currently better optimized for nvidia. 45-55 fps is a bit of a stretch though.

what should i lower or turn off to get those results? i would like to keep 1080p res and very high for the 660 ti.

Here is the Geforce.com game settings guide for Metro Last Light. All the way at the bottom of the page are suggested settings for a GTX 660 Ti. Also make sure you are using the 320.14 "Game Ready" drivers optimized specifically for Metro Last Light.

That's the performance level they say they are targeting in the article.
