Newly built computer wont boot

Hi guys I apologize if I am on the wrong part of the site, I am new here. I was having a problem with a computer I just built and I couldn't find a solution to it anywhere. I just finished building my computer and it turned on successfully. I got to install my Operating System, programs and even got to play a few games. It was working for a few days before it just refused to boot, when I press the power button nothing happens. No fans start up, no lights, no sounds. I tested most things that I could think of, like the standoff screws causing a short, the psu being defective, and a few other things. Please please please help me if you can, I just want to get it working.

Below are my system specs:
AMD FX-8350
Seagate 1 TB hard drive
16 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
Nvidia GTX 660
Gigabyte GA-970a motherboard

Of all the part(s) that you've tested, which (if any) can you confirm works? In other words, test your PSU. Does it turn on? Does it work? Does your motherboard receive power?

is power connected to your motherboaord?

On that topic, did you connect the 4-pin or 8-pin CPU power connector?
