Format RAW to NTFS

Hi,I did follow the addvice in this forum on changing from RAW to NTFS but im still having problems getting the drive to format and convert from RAW to NTFS,I dont care if I lose all data on the drive as long as I can use the terrabyte drive again,is there any other way to format the drive because each time I format the drive it doesent even go till 40% then windows gives a error on format and then the drive is not visible in my computer.Please help me im stuck with this for quite a while now

use the manufacturers tools to check the drive including a surface scan. If format can't complete it sounds like the drive has issues to me.
