Looking for a new Laptop, some help/suggestions/tips please?

So im looking for a new laptop, typically ill use it to play WoW and use it in school.

My prefrences for a laptop would be:
Not to bulky as i would have to bring it to school.
Powerful enough to play WoW with good FPS.
around 14 Inch.
Looks good
and im planning to change the OS to Windows 7, if thats a problem for Windows 8 laptops?

My budget would be 1500 usd.

Currently i've shortlisted 3 laptops
Lenovo Y400
Alienware m14x
Dell FPS 14 ( Ultrabook )

If you give me some feedback/recommendations on laptops including the laptops i have chosen, ive heard that the y400 has heat and reliability problems? The Y400 is probably my first choice currently due to specs.

the 900p version is over your budget, there is also an i5 version for $950 at best buy.
