games like fallout 3 and skyrim load textures very slowly

for some wierd and odd reason my games are loading textures very slowly (computer is loading very slowly in general)
my specs are:
AMD Phenom X6 1045T 2.7GHz
Gigabyte Radeon HD 6570
8GB RAM DDR3
Windows 7 ultimate x64
1TB HDD

i have no idea what is doing this, i thought it mightve been a directx error but i reinstalled and got the same results, the last thing i did was update my Realtek Audio driver and my BIOS

How slow do you mean? Those two do exhibit some texture pop in.

really slow, like 35 secs into the game, and it stutters like its gonna crash or something, this didnt happen before just to clarify
