video card driver

Hello, I've bought Lenovo G580 laptop (running it on Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit) with nVidia GeForce M635 video card, however device maneger only shows Intel HD Graphics 4000 and an unknown Standard VGA Graphics Adapter which seems to represent the nVidia video card, but driver for this hardware cannot be updated. And when I try to install the driver from DVD which came with the laptop, an error shows up during the driver installation ("no compatibile video card is found" or "some files are missing"). I appreciate any effort to help me, thanks.
