How to connect a 20 pin usb 3.0 port to a 9 pin usb 3.0 motherboard header?

Hi. I have just purchased a Cooler Master Storm Trooper full tower. The problem is that the USB 3.0 port on the tower terminates in a 20 pin connection. Unfortunately my Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 motherboard USB 3.0 header is only a 9 pin connection. I've seen plenty of 20 pin USB 3.0 to 9 pin USB 2.0 adapters for sale on the internet........would any one of those do, or should I be careful which one I buy (I definitely don't want to lose the USB 3.0 functionality). Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks.

Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 has back panel USB 3.0 ports. There are no internal USB 3.0 headers on that model, only three USB 2.0/1.1 headers.

Thanks Calvin7 - sounds like I would need to buy a new motherboard then. If so, I probably won't bother and will be happy to stick with USB 2.0.
