Hey guys, so its about time I replace my 6 year old Netgear router and I need some help deciding. I don't know if it's important but this is the modem I currently have...

I am going to be using the router for gaming and there are also going to be like 4 other computers, 5 phones, and a Netflix streaming device. My computer is going to be the only one that will be used for gaming though. After looking online I arrived at these two routers and I don't know which one to get or if there is a better one around the same price range.

Also, I seriously need to upgrade my wifi card in my computer. If anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.

Not a real lot of difference, I prefer routers with replaceable antenna but there are other that think that antenna are ugly.

Inside if you dig though the FCC stuff you will find they use EXACTLY the same chips for the radios and the processors. The asus has slightly more memory but that makes little difference unless you plan to load third party firmware.

It will likely come down to if one has some software feature the other does not.

Ok, I think I'm going to get the RT-N66U due to better reports on speed and range. Can someone recommend me an adapter/wifi card for my computer that can properly utilize the new router? I don't really know the difference between them. Thanks for the help
