Hello folks, Kind of new to this forum. Im looking for all your guys opinions. Just trying to figure out if i should build a new rig or just upgrade what i have. I hope to see some good suggestions and thanks for your help!

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: Anytime ( thought about purchasing it this month or early next month

Budget Range: 1500-2000 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, streaming, web surfing

Parts to Upgrade: I will either upgrade the rig i have now or build completely new. Thats why i need your guys opinions :wahoo:

Do you need to buy OS: Yes i would probably have to buy a new OS even if i just upgrade because i will probably replace the MB

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg or any trusted website

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Portland Oregon

Parts Preferences: Would like to try a Intel/Nvidia build this time around but im open to listening to all suggestions

Overclocking: Probably not.. i don't know how and wouldn't want to mess anything up

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Dont need the following : Mouse, keyboard, monitors

Your Monitor Resolution: I currently use 1920x1080 and i think that's fine

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Feel that its time to upgrade.

I don't think you will gain much from building now because Intel's new line Haswell is out soon, along with nVidias 700 series. I would say wait and upgrade in a month to a new GPU. Your computer is still good and should last a while. You could get a SSD and a new GPU, those would be the only real noticeable improvements.

So maybe just wait till haswell comes out and get a new haswell cpu, and new gpu, mobo and SSD? i feel like the amd cpu i have now is starting to fall off.. espically when it comes to streaming it just cant handle streaming while gaming
