Can anyone offer any advice as to why my pc is playing up. The machine is a 2 year old Acer M3920 with an i3-2100 processer and 4MB of RAM. The problem is that there seems to be a delay between using the scroll wheel on the mouse and the displayed on the monitor actually moving. It only seems to happen when I am browsing the internet. I have tried Explorer and Firefox and they are both as bad (in Firefox I have noticed that there appears to be a slight ripple across the picture when it scrolls) and activating/deactivating smooth scroll in Firefox does not offer any improvement. I have tried two different mice with the default MS driver and a HH driver for my HP Laser mouse but the problem is still there. In desperation last weekend I reformatted the C drive and did a fresh install of XP but the problem is still there. Can anyone offer any suggestions ?
