Hello, everyone!

I'm planning on buying a second monitor for my desktop, it will be the same monitor im currently using, the ASUS VE247H 23.6" 1080p monitor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236112).

Currently, I have it connected via the DVI port on my 5770. However the 5770 only has 1 DVI, 1 HDMI, and 1 VGA. Can I just plug it into the HDMI and it will be done? Or do I need to have an HDMI to DVI adapter or VGA to DVI adapter?

Yes. Just plug the graphics card into the monitor using the HDMI output to the monitor's HDMI input. No adapters necessary. Once connected and powered up, you will probably need to go into Catalyst Control Center and enable the secondary screen.
