Looking to build a new gaming pc and haven't really been following the newest hardware trends out there since 2008 lol. Hopefully the community will be able to help me decide what is the most bang for my buck. Please see questionaire below:

1. What is the purpose of the computer?

A: Gaming, web browsing (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video), Blue Ray playback, listening to music.

2. Are you open to alternate ideas/products giving similar better performance but offering more VFM/ sellers? If not- why?

A: Yes

3. What is your MAX budget?

A: $1,500 for tower, all peripherals including monitors seperate.

4. Planning to overclock?

A: Open to overclocking but have never done it. Will probably only experiment with it down the road. Looking for build that can stand on own out of box.

5. Which OS are you planning to use?

A: Windows 7 premium 64-bit, have on current pc. Not sure if I can transfer over to new one or not.

6. How much hard drive space is needed?

A: Want 120gb SSD, and a TB HDD.

7. What resolution will the screen run at & whats the size of the screen you want? If you already want have one and want to use it, mention its resolution and size.

A: Plan on running two screens, one 1080p to game on, and one 1600x900 screen for web browsing (may upgrade to another 1080p in future).

8. How would you rate your hardware knowledge from the count of 1-10? (1 being the lowest, 5 being you are somewhat in sync with the current performers and 10 being the highest)

A: 5

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?

A: I have built one before with help from a friend.

10. When are you planning to buy the system?

A: Oct-Nov 2013

11. Are you one of the types looking out for "future proof" configurations?

A: Future proofing is a must

12. Are there going to be any components that you don't want to include in this new rig? If yes, do mention.

A: None that I can think of.

13. Which city do you live in and are you open to buying from shops from other city/states?

A: Kansas City, MO will probably buy rom Newegg/Amazon

Thanks!
