i have several 32 bit drivers for hardware i plan to migrate to an amd fx8350 8 core 64 bit machine. will the drivers work? win win7-32 work?

Yes, 32-bit will work fine.

You only get problems when going the other way. Some (mainly older) processors don't support 64-bit. Almost every desktop processor released in the last 12-13 years can support a 32-bit OS. Windows 2000 was 32-bit and Windows 98 had the option of 32-bit.

All PC nowadays can run either 32 and 64 bit. You will use 64 bit if you have 4GB RAM or more and 3TB HDD or more, which is very necessary so it can utilize all those resources efficiently.
