Will a H100i fit in a Fractal Design Define R4 Mid Tower Case?

Hello,

I was recently looking into closed loop water cooling options for my CPU and stumbled upon the Corsair H100i. If I were to use that cooler in this build do you think that the cooler (radiator and fans) would fit in the top of the case (as in above the motherboard)?

Does anyone have this setup, and can confirm it works?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, but there are better choices out there. You can always get a quieter air cooler like the Noctua NH-D14, or spend a little bit more for custom watercooling.

I heard that the H100i would be cooler than the NH-D14. Do you have any statistics to prove the NH-D14 is a better cooler?

The H100i performs better than the NH-D14, it's just a bit louder under full load.

The H100i should fit in the top of the R4 and it might fit in the front if you move the HDD cage towards that PSU.
