i'm buying a new ATX v2.3 psu to replace my old ATX v2.03 .WILL THIS NEW PSU COMPATIBLE ???

actually i'm replacing my old supercomp sep 500 (a local cheap quality 450watts psu ) which has the ATX 12v-V2.03 with a new crosair cmpsu 430cx v2uk which has ATX 12v-V2.3 ....i've an intel dg41rq motherboard .is this new psu compatible ??? what these version means ?? does they really matter ? please reply and help me ......should i buy this new psu or not .i've an atx cabinet

It should work fine. PSU manufacturers have fixed compatibility issues with some Intel motherboards a long time ago.
