I'm planning on building a gaming pc and have talked to some friends about my setup and I just want to lay it out here and see what kind of feedback I can get from you guys here. Tell me If you think my setup is good, what you like about it, what you don't like about it and what I could or should change.

Processor - Intel i5 3570k Ivy Bridge (I'm going to replace the thermal past thats in the cpu itself to fix the heat problem that Ivy Bridges have. It has been done safely)
Motherboard - MSI z77 A-G41 1155
RAM - 16 GB DDR3(2X8)
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 7870
PSU - Rosewill Lightning Series 800W 80 PLUS GOLD
Case - Thermaltake Overseer
CPU Cooling - CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i
Harddrive/SSD - 2TB Black edition HD(not sure which brand to get) and 120GB SSD(not sure which brand)
Optical Drive - Not sure
Keyboard/Mouse - Not sure
Monitor - ASUS VS239H-P Black 23" 5ms

I'm new to pc gaming but not to pc's. I know how to put together a computer and I know how to repair and refurbish computers. I just want another opinion on this gaming setup.

haswell processors will be out soon around 4 june
and they have 10% better performance than ivy and they will use a new socket lga 1150
so lga 1155 is a dead socket
and also the gpu is the most important part of the gaming pc so spend more on ur gpu and less on cpu
and also 16 gb ram is overkill 8gb would be more than enough
