I'm going to get a pc with a gtx titan graphics card and sli ready but I don't want to buy another titan just right now because of the price, so I'll just buy one for now. But I was wondering would the titan be able to do 3 monitor display at a good frame rate and good graphics, if so then what about 3D surround, can the titan by itself run 3D surrond well with 3 monitors? I also heard the gtx titan may be useless card in the near future because of changes in gaming, is this true? I really want a good 3 monitor setup that is future proof so when games start catching up to my gpu I can just SLI another titan; is this a good plan and does it work?

Why not get 2 gtx 670's and put them in SLI, they will beat the Titan by a lot and they are cheaper then a single titan.

I was thinking that but I want this pc long term so I was thinking I would sli two titans eventually, but I wasn't sure whether to just do it now, do my needs demand another titan?
