well as far as battlefield 3 is considered, min 24 to 29 fps, average 47 to 49 fps and max 70 to 73 fps you would get on ultra max settings with that graphic card, for skyrim min 27 to 31 fps, average 62 to 66 fps and max 100 to 113 fps, with a bit of scaling down graphic settings i think you could achieve the desired fps, but the above mentioned fps were tested with an i7 processor so they may change.

the i5 is good due to architecture superiority. the differences between an i7 and an i5 in gaming are extremely minimal, it wont matter. well battlefield 3 is more gpu intensive then cpu, while skyrim is dependent on both cpu and gpu.

well the fps which i gave you are for 2560x1600 res with 4X MSAA and FXAA High, 16X AF, and the last slide which you linked, if you check has almost same fps around 42.43 with 4xAA and 61.77 with no AA enabled on 2560x1600 res, if you are running on 1920 x 1080 res i think 70 fps is pretty much achievable on 1920 x 1080 with 4X MSAA and FXAA High, 16X AF.

Well i agree with bigmack, there are lot of factors which will affect the framerate but you could get a general idea where the card would stand on the price vs performance benchmark.
