Will my psu be able to let me run on my 42" 3d tv?

i have a Cooler master 650w 80+ bronze series will it run on my tv? i could run on my 50" plasma with a worse psu i think it was a 600w so just wanted to check

The PSU has nothing at all to do with what resolution you can use.

I'm confused about the question. Are you inquiring what GPU your PSU can run so you can run it on a TV? Or do you want to know if your PSU will run your GPU?

Well my psu needs to power my computer so if I change from a 22" monitor to a 50" it's obviously going to take more power. I'm asking if the psu is powerfull enough to power the 50" because my friend tried to play on his 50" n his psu blew up and destroyed his computer.

Your monitor has its' own power supply, it does not run off the computer's power supply. If your friend had that happen to his PC, it's most likely because he bought an extremely poor quality power supply. That will do that to computers. Whether or not your PC will run off your 42" TV entirely depends on whether or not your video card has an HDMI output, it has nothing to do with the power supply.
