Molex to 3-pin Adapter

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a NZXT Sleeved led strip and the package didn't come with the adapter it should have because it was a used purchase off of Amazon. But I got a similar adapter at microcenter but when I tried to plug it in the 3 pin hole on the adapter did not fit in the slot it was supposed to fit in on the led board. So I bent back some of the plastic to see if it would fit that way but even if I put it on slightly, I could wiggle the adapter around ALOT. Hopefully you guys can help me out. Also if this is in the wrong category, please tell me where to move it.

I think so. The only reason why I am not entirely sure is because thats , from my knowledge , the same thing that I got from micro center. Do you think the one you linked me to will work?

I can't say for sure as I have never used one. The one on Amazon and the one from coolerguys look the same to me. You could get the less expensive of the two and try it. From the picture these does appear to be a slight difference with the three pin connector.
