Hey all. I'm a 1st time builder and wanted to get opinions about the components I have priced so far for a mid level gaming rig. Price limit of $1000 (excluding software, monitor, keyboard, etc.). Please let me know of any issues that may be an issue (compatibility, heat, bottlenecking, etc.). All help and feedback is appreciated!

Very similar to what you have there, but with a more trustworthy PSU, a Samsung SSD, a more powerful GPU, and a CPU cooler so that you can make proper use of that -k processor.

I should mention, however, that the new Intel processors are coming out soon (June 3rd, specifically), so waiting might be wise.
