I'm encountering some annoying freeze issues with my pc for quite some time. I have tons of games installed but the issue only occurs with dota 2 and arkham city. Pc just freezes with a buzz sound. No sound after the buzz, keyboard and mouse's lights also turn off. All I can do is restarting the pc.
And the strange thing is, this happens only when I'm in the main menu in dota 2. Or watching a cutscene when playing arkham city. There is no issue in gameplay whatsoever. Just these main menu and cutscene crashes.
I checked for overheating aswell, everything seems ok. The freeze even occurs when I alt tabbed the game and doing something else while dota 2 finds matches. Just wondering why the heck it only freezes in main menu and even the game is minimized to taskbar. Kinda strange issue that I can't resolve.
My system is;
i5 2500k with stock fan and stock clock speeds
4 gb ram
gtx 560 ti
msi p67a-g45 motherboard
win7 64 bit
All drivers are installed and up to date. No issues with other graphic intense games. No issues with gameplay either. It just freezes at least once everday in main menu.
