Hello,

I have a pc with this hardware:

CPU: Intel I7 920 2666BOX13668MB
Motherboard: Asus P6T SE X58
Ram: 6 gb ddr3
Graphic card: Nvidia GTX 285 1GB
I have also the windows 7 home premium 64bits

Well i was thinking in upgrade my pc by addin 2gb of ram and a new graphic card the gtx 660 or gtx 670.

I would apreciate some advices because i dont know if it will work fine and if i will notice the difference.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

You'll definitely notice the difference in upgrading your GPU.

However you'll have to make sure you have an adequate PSU.

Around 450-500W should do it I think. Upgrading your RAM to 8GB

is good, except for that you'll end up mixing and matching different kinds of

RAM, which isn't good. You should see if you can buy a "set" of RAM. Such as

some dual channel RAM of 2x4GB. I don't know if your motherboard and CPU will

bottleneck the GPU though. That is to say, they don't run fast enough.

Thanks for the reply,

My PSU is 720w so i dont think i will have that problem.

Im worried about the possible bottleneck... i have to think about it.
