So I'm looking for a large monitor for gaming and watching movies mainly. I usually sit around 2 feet away from my screen while gaming and I was wondering if the image quality would suffer that much from the screen being bigger and the resolution staying the same. (1920x1080) Would it be that horribly noticeable? Here is a relatively well received monitor that I'm looking at for example -

Yeah 27" is pretty big for 1080p ... most prefer 1440 at that size.

Basically it starts to look like a TV.

Would it be horribly noticeable at 2 feet? Kind of. Is it a deal breaker? No. If you're sitting 2 feet away and don't have insanely good eyesight, you might actually like it better as you will basically get a larger 1080p image.

Hmm... the whole reason I'm getting a new monitor is because I want awesome color, dark blacks, and awesome image quality. What would you say is the largest you'd go at 1920x1080?
