Razer Taipan drivers broken help needed

SO i bought a new razer taipan around Christmas. It worked fine, until a couple of days ago. The drivers had fucked up and now it thinks its a keyboard. (under the devices section of the control panel it has razer taipan with a pic of a keyboard). I have been on support with razer and all they say is uninstall and reinstall synapsis. No luck. Any advice?

So this was a while ago. Sinxe then, I have temporally fixed it. I qlso found the problem. My windows had a massive error log. So the mouse was fine just my windows was pretty bad. All I did was delete the drivers and reinstall them one by one with razer software
