Hey all, first off I am new to PC building, and never had the desire to build until now. I'm at the final stages of picking parts, and based on my research, I believe I have picked parts that will work together. I want to make sure everything will go together, as well as ensuring I picked the right sized Power Supply. Here is my basic components I've selected:

1.) PROCESSOR: Intel Core i7-3770K Processor - Quad Core, 8MB L3 Cache

2.) PROCESSOR COOLING: Thermaltake Bigwater 760 PRO Liquid Cooling 2U Bay Drive System

3.) MEMORY/RAM: Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 Vengeance Desktop Memory Module (4 x 4GB), PC3-12800, DDR3-1600MHz

4.) VIDEO CARD: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 11197-03-40G Video Card - 3GB GDDR5, PCI-Express 3.0(x16), Overclocked

5.) MOTHERBOARD: M452-7700 - MSI Z77 MPOWER Intel Z77 Socket Motherboard (Big Bang) - Socket 1155, Intel Z77 Express Chipset, DDR3 3000 MHz, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, PCIe

6.) POWER SUPPLY: OCZ OCZ-ZT550W ZT Series ATX Modular Power Supply - 550W, 80 Plus Bronze, 140mm Fan

7.) PRIM. HARD DRIVE: SanDisk Ultra Plus 256GB SSD

8.) SEC. HARD DRIVE: Seagate Barracuda 1TB Hard Drive - 7200RPM, 64MB, SATA 6Gb/s

9.) OPTICAL DRIVE: Asus 24X Internal DVD Burner - DVD±R 24X, DVD+RW 8X, DVD-RW 6X, DVD±R (DL) 12X, DVD-RAM 12X, CD-R 48X, CD-RW 32X, SATA, 2MB

10.) FLASH MEDIA READER/WRITER: Sabrent 7-Slot USB 2.0 Internal Memory Card Reader & Writer - Aluminum, SDHC/SDXC/M2, USB 2.0, Black, 3.5", Self Powered, SDHC, MicroSD Support

11.) SOUND CARD: Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE 70SB057000001 Sound Card - 7.1 Channel, Supports SPDIF, Line In, Headphone Out

12.) NETWORK CARD: HiRO H50219 Low Profile Internal Gigabit Fast LAN Ethernet Card - RJ-45, 10/100/1000, PCI Express, PCIe, PCI-E 1X, RoHS

13.) OP SYSTEM: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Phew! That was exhausting...Ok so, I plan on overclocking as well, so if you guys (and girls) could give me some feedback, tips, comments, or anything else pertaining to the parts compatability with one another, ESPECIALLY the size power supply I will need, that'd be great. Also, I am looking at buying the NZXT Phantom Enthusiast Full Tower Case. I forgot to add that. It has 5 x 5.25" ext bays and 7 x 3.5" int bays.

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the tip. I read the reviews on corsair psu's and they seem to be the favorite among most enthusiasts, so I'm definitely going to go with Corsair. I think I'm going to buy the Corsair TX750, though. Also, do you know if everything else I listed will be compatible with each other, if I buy the TX750? Thanks again

Ya

Every part in there should be compatible with each other
TX-750 is a good power supply and it should do the job.

Have fun with your new build.
