Help to make myself admin

hi guys was just trying to mod some files on a game and it said i need to be logged in as admin how do i do this

Try this
The easiest one to use "Account Setting" from "Control panel".
-Go to Start
-select Control Panel
-Go to User Account
-Your User Name
-Change my account type

britnyarleen - you need admin access to set admin access, so odds are that that won't work. If the OP can do it, then she already has admin priv and doesn't need to do it.

Step 1: can you explain in more detail what you mean by "mod some files on a game," and what message you got? We might be able to give you a more useful answer...

Step 2: Find out who the administrator of the machine is. Is it you, your school or workplace's IT department, nobody?

Step 3: Have that person, maybe you, login to an account that is already adminstrator-privileged and grant said access to your login.
