For gaming, I want to go into pc gaming instead of ps4/xbox one. I want a rig that can compete with them in terms of gaming power and a Radeaon 7870 with fx6100 or fx6300 seems enough. I have about 600-800$ to spend, not sure yet. I live in south florida.

If you wanna spend 770$ on an amd pc, then this might be a good build. The 8350 competes with the i5 3570k at a lower price. It may perform a bit worse than the i5 but the price makes up for it. The radeon 7870 is a great dal considering you get 4 free games. This cpu is easily overclockable which is why i put another cooler. Just dont do some EXTREME overclocking on it though. So yeah. Thats basically it. Good luck on your build man! :)

Add another $100 for an OS, even if you don't overclock, which is very easy, getting a better CPU cooler will greatly help your CPU temps, because the stock coolers, quite frankly, kinda suck.
