FX 6300 overclocking question

I OC'ed (first time overclocking) my 6300 and it was unstable at 4.2 so backed it off to 4.02 and runs good. Cooler is a hyper 212 evo, ran prime95 for 60 mins temps only hit 51°C. Is this average? I see threads talking about 4.5 but I just dont see my cpu getting there. I want stability and cool temps more then over the top performance. Should I just be happy where I am at or go back and push for more?

It depends how comfortable you are with upping voltages. If you are at stock voltage then increase them. However if done wrong this could damage your CPU and it could shorten the life of your CPU. Make sure you know what you're doing and ask if you need more help!
