Hello there. I want to get a new PC to replace my old 9500gt+q8200+2gb ddr2 ram PC. Obviously I will build this one. This pc will have 7870 crossfire. I am stuck between the i7 or the fx. I don't plan on overclocking at all. Also power efficiency is a big deal for me, since AMD crossfire is a power hog. This PC should last me at 1920x1080 resolution for about the next 5-7 years at playing games med-max at 1080p. The i7 is only around 30 pounds more than the 8350 build. I can afford both PCs. My plan being buy one 7870, then buy another one later on, since I can't afford a whole crossfire build in one go. The mobo for the FX build is the Asus m5a99x EVO and the i7 build I will use the Asus P8z77-v LX. Can you guys help me? Thanks in advance. Plus I am choosing i7 because I want to get the most out of the platform without upgrading, sicne LGA 1155 is dead now. the PSU I will use is the Corsair TX 850w.
