ACER Aspire G7200 black screen do i need to re flash the BIOS? gets to the microsoft sign then black screen although the cursor moves around the screen?

What happened immediately before it started to black screenwere you flashing the bios, updating firmware or just doing normal operations. Can you get it safe mode hold f8 while booting?
