Hi all, this i my first post on here, I have been on here in the past to find answers on things and its been very useful.

This is my FIRST EVER PC BUILD. EVER. (So no hate if I've done something wrong).

I've made up 2 builds each around the 1.5k mark and I'm fairly satisfied with what I've picked, I'd just like some input and feedback from experience PC builders, as I don't have much understanding on what's good or not when it comes to PC's. Also just let me know if something is un/neccessary and I could be without it.

I shall mostly be playing Games from 2010 and up and some Gamecube and PS2 emulation.

Here are the links for each: (They are basically the same PC just minor changes to match colour scheme).

Thanks in advance to those who help me out.

Get a gigbyte z77 d3h or like a msi z77a g45, you don't need that mobo. and get a corsair or seasonic psu. Same answer for both builds.

I had a look at both of the mobo's and the gigabyte one was pretty much what I needed saved me like 50 bucks :)
and had a look at a corsair 750w modular and it was 119 compared to 175. does it matter about rating platinum, gold, silver, bronze? what are the differences? Thanks

According to me if u can wait for haswell then wait for haswell and for GPU wait for new gtx 700 series more GPUs launch. Because price will be drop when they come.
Otherwise check this.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($169.99 @ Microcenter)
CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V PRO ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($209.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($61.20 @ Newegg)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($62.98 @ Outlet PC)
Video Card: Asus GTX 670 2GB Video Card ($388.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master Elite 335 Upgraded ATX Mid Tower Case ($36.66 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: SeaSonic G 550W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($79.99 @ Amazon)
Optical Drive: LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer ($14.99 @ Newegg)

SSD: Samsung 840 pro 128gb ($129.99@ Amazon)
This SSD is fastest.

If u don't plan for a very serious OCing then u can replace CPU cooler to Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.74 @ Amazon)

Thanks princejeet for your input, but I live in Australia, so buying from Newegg/Amazon isn't an option.
I don't really mind about the haswell range, I just want to get a better PC ASAP. I currently only have a laptop sporting i7 3610qm, geforce gt630m and 8gb of ram and the gpu just doesn't cut it for 2011+ games. Thanks again.
