Looking to get an his x2 hd 7970

I'm in the market to buy a new graphics card http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161431 but my power supply only has 1 6 pin and one 8 pin. this card requires 2 8-pins. If you were wondering the power supply is 800 watts. Could I use a 2 molex to 6-pin and a 2 6-pin to 8 to make a suitable 8 pin?

Well if you're power supply doesn't have an 8x2 pin connector then its saying it doesn't have enough power to supply an 8x2 pin GPU regardless of the wattage.

I wouldn't recommend that BTW.

What is your PSU? The wattage is irrelevant if its crap.
