Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: within 2-3 months i dont care about discounts honestly i can pay an extra $100-200

Budget Range: 1000 rough estimate the less i need to spend the beter but if you think i need to spend more for what i will use it for please feal free to make it up to 2k

System Usage from Most to Least Important: playing sc2 and streaming EXTREAMLY IMPORTANT that is the only reason i chose to build a brad new comp for me i plan to upgard later for game i might get into so i would prefer somthing that can be upgraded lots without having to rewplace a ton of parts. eg having extra motherboard slots or extra shell slots.

Are you buying a monitor: yes but after i get my computer along with keyboard and mouse i plan to use it to professionaly play sc2 so dont add them into the estimate ik what i will get already for them and can work around anything you give me regardless

Parts to Upgrade: N/A this is completly from scratch :D

Do you need to buy OS: Yes i would like windows 7-8 either or idc

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg only

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Canada A.B

Parts Preferences: by brand or type aslong as they work great and last a while ill be happy regardless of name

Overclocking: If you think i should need it

SLI or Crossfire: if it is needed
Your Monitor Resolution: N/A ill be buying after purcashing computer parts

Additional Comments: needs to be able to run sc2 max graphics, Stream to twitch and play music, while mabye haveing a few more tabs open of internet

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: im upgrading cuz i moved away from home just recintly and away from my dell xps it couldent stream but did fine with processing i think my streaming had issues it may have been my internet and how slow my upload speed was though i can work tons of hours i want a comp ill love to use for thease things not somthing ona budget realy money isnt a problem i will save for it however long it takes. so once again i will be using it and NEED it to be able to play sc2 max graphics stream to twitch play music and have up to 3 tab of internet open all the while doing it seemlessly because sc2 dosint take much and im not saying i wana play the max graphics on the currently most TASKING game for computers i think 1k is reasonable but if it isnt let me know ill reconsider it deeply

something I made for you! :D  The build includes windows 7 home premium. The GTX 670 maybe overkill but I put it in there just in case you want to play future games. Or you could wait for gtx 770 or 760ti your choice.
SLI and Cross fire is 2 or more graphics cards working together to make more fps. SLI is nvidia Crossfire is AMD. They mean the same thing.

Here is some more to think about - http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Casper1973/saved/1Ezp

Should easily handle SC2 on any settings. Upgrade options?
- Supports up to 32GB of RAM and you have 2 empty slots to fill.
- Supports SLI so you could add a second graphics card. PSU has enough power to accomodate this.
- CPU is overclockable for getting that extra bit of power. Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of CPU upgrades as Intels next range of CPU's will use a different socket. These are due for release in early June, might be worth waiting if you can.

Yeah when building the PC for him I was thinking about intels new haswell cpu but if he wants it future proof the am3+ sockets are the way to go. AMD's FX processors are also overclockable. My motherboard has 4 PCIE 2.0x 16 slots it can support up too 4 way sli.

Yep the main issue with buying Intel at the moment is looking to the future. Socket 1155 is effectively discontinued in a few months time.

AMD's socket AM3+ will remain in use for their next architecture (Most likely their next two, but this hasn't been confirmed that I know of). So with a bit of luck and a BIOS update you could buy a brand new AMD chip in 2015 and drop it straight in.

The thing is - will you even need to upgrade the i7-3770k? It's a high end processor which is already 10-15% faster than the FX-8350. Probably be 3-4 years until you even consider upgrading it and by which time you may want an entire new machine?

Up to you. Not sure how long you plan to keep this.
