Display issue - black bars on the sides

I recently turned on my monitor and now I have black bars on the sides, a lot like watching an old movie on a widescreen tv.

My computer says its displaying 1930x1080 but it appears to be scrunching it down horizontally. I cant get it to use the whole monitor. Ive tried shutting down, restarting, changing which dvi port I'm using (of side), and trying a few different display resolutions. I've had this computer for about 6 months with no issues. Any ideas on what could be wrong or how I could fix it?

It's an LG model number W2753VQV.

I was able to borrow a monitor and it's working fine on that one. So it pretty much has to be my monitor. It's out of manufactures warranty so unless I can fix it myself somehow I'm pretty sure I need a new one.

Try reset the monitor to the factory setting. It should be somewhere in the OSD.
