Put together a new machine, installed OS. Runs ok without the chipset. However it does bluescreen, and the USB 3.0 do not want to work.

I have repeated this process 4 times, and everytime i install the chipset the computer does not see the hd as a boot source.

I double checked that the ram works (testing one then the other) to make sure that random errors were eliminated.

I am tempted to leave the chipset out and try working around it.

Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I should mention that I have installed both from the cd that came with the mb, and downloaded from the asus website. Same result
