Hello there

I'd like to know how would you rate each of my PC stats for gaming and performance .I like playing games like Far Cry 3 ,Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 & 3 ,Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 & 3 ,GTA 4, Mafia 2 and so on .. I want to play games like these on atleast 30 FPS or more

With my current PC stats, I can play Far Cry 3 on medium settings ( just water details on high ) with 22-33 FPS ,Battlefield on medium with 23-35 FPS ,Call of duty modern warfare 2 on highest settings with 45-60 FPS and Mafia 2 on highest settings ( physX off ) with 30-45 FPS

Here are my PC stats:

AMD Anthlom X2 240 2.80 GHz Processor
2 GB of RAM ( Im planning to add +8 GB ,so when I combine these 2 cards there will be 10 GB total )
AFOX Nvidia GeForce GT 630 4 GB Graphics Card
Hard Disk: 500 GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit OS ( I'll change it to windows 7 -64 bit or windows 8 -64 bit at same time when I upgrade my RAM)

Thank you!

I would find it hard to believe you get 30fps on any of the games you have mentioned with that rig on anything more than low settings.
I liked my X2 when I had one, but it really was weak and that was 2 years back.

I'll give you a 3/10 Lee-m stat rating :)

Why would I lie you ? I really have the same FPS which I said in those games. I guess my GPU is the main factor here .I remember with my old card ( nvidia geforce 7025 256 mb integrated card ) I had 1-5 FPS on Mafia 2 and 15-20 FPS on Call of duty modern warfare 2 .. But after I bought that GPU ,it increased my FPS in these games a lot ,now Im playing both call of duty modern warfare 2 and mafia 2 on highest settings without any lag ( mafia 2 - 30 to 45 FPS and cod mw 2 above 45-60 FPS )

BTW what do you think I should change, my RAM or processor ? if Im upgrading my RAM ,I would upgrade it with +8 GB ,so when I combine with my current 2 GB of RAM ,they'll become 10 GB ,will that increase some FPS in far cry 3 and battlefield 3 ?

Thanks

You might be able to claim a few extra fps with more ram, but nothing major over 4gig of ram. My advice is to start saving for a new machine now instead of spending more on this one. That cpu will bottle neck any newish gfx card.
