Will a factory overclocked GPU work on a motherboard that does not allow overclocking?

I have this motherboard that doesn't allow overclocking "B75MA-E33 LGA 1155 motherboard" if I wanted to get a factory overclocked Gigabyte 7970, will it work with my motherboard? Or will it not work?

yep.
I don't know the mobo off the top pf my head, but not supporting overclocking (if thats what it says) is referring to the cpu.

You can think of the gfx card and gpu as a blackbox.

Yes, the info needed for the video card to run, is programmed in the cards bios its self. The motherboard has nothing to do with it.
