Hello all,

looking to build my first gaming computer from scratch. I have the basic ideas of what to get though im not sure what is compatible with the option si have chosen already.

So for starters, I would like to purchase an alienware m17x frame with a cd/dvd reader as I like the look of the model. I would also like to purchase a 16/32 gb ram, windows 7 operating system software. along with a few other things to optimize my gaming experience.

So my question is what kind of
1.ram
2.graphics card
3.processor (probably a quad core)
4.wi-fi card
5.cooling technology
6. sound card
should i get that is compatible with the frame I am choosing? regardless of pricing

just really looking for suggestions that would compliment my basic ideas of the build.

looking to be able to play any current game from outlets like steam.

examples of games I play.

Defiance
TF2
mass effect 3
bioshock infinite
dead space 3

for a few examples.

Then you can play any game pretty well ^^.

You also only need 8GB RAM.
