My experience with Blu-Ray software has taught me that getting Blu-Rays to work properly is a royal pain in the butt.
My Lenovo came with a copy of PowerDVD10, which (on my system) is unable to display menu text or subtitles. I downloaded a demo of WinDVD and it was unable to play Blu-Rays at all. In the end, i'm just ripping all my movies and saving them to an external hard drive.

Anyway...
I suggest you just download the trial version of 12 or 13, and see if it works.
