I am looking to get a card for my girl friends computer and I really can't get a new PSU just for her place.

I have looked at a few cards and the GTS 450 seems the best for the low price and under 500watt psu requirement.

Just wondering if it's 100% safe to use the GTS 450 with a 520watt PSU.
New egg says the card I want requires "Minimum 400W or greater system power supply (with a minimum 12V current rating of 22A)"

The specs on my PSU:

It says 20amps with 2x 12v rails does this mean I have 35-40amps?

Will this be ok?

Any other good cards for $40-$60 that would be better?

The GTS 450 will work with that power supply.

Also, you might want to look at Radeon HD 7750 graphics card. This card is the most powerful card without the needing of external power connector, unlike he GTS 450. So, you don't have to worry about PSU when picking this card. And, 7750 is faster than GTS 450, obviously.

Thanks, unfortunatly the 7750 and 7770 are too expensive although I would prefer them.
